Pluralsight is a skills platform that evaluates the technical abilities of teams through assessments, aligns learning to key business objectives using learning paths and closes skills gaps in critical modern roles with courses authored by industry experts. Red Hat Certified Engineer training and testing now available on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8

The newly released Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) exam (EX294) updated to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8 allows candidates to demonstrate they have the skills to manage and configure multiple systems using state of the art automation tools. Including Red Hat Ansible Engine in this test came as a result of increasingly more IT organizations facing challenges related to scaling infrastructure and efficiently turning to Red Hat Ansible Automation as a common language to automate across different functions. As a result, system administrators need to understand more than how to deploy, configure, and manage an operating system—they need to know how to automate functions and how to make the automation itself scalable.

With the release of Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8, the Training and Certification team also announced its launch of offerings to coincide with the new version. Courses and exams contributing to the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) title are available on redhat.com and in the Red Hat Learning Subscription.

UFCG’s students build open source skills with Red Hat Academy

Universidade Federal de Campina Grande (UFCG), a public university in Brazil, has a rich history of providing its students with a vast knowledge of open source skills. For over 15 years, this university has been a prominent OpenStack community contributor globally with more than 150,000 lines of developed code and 30 individual contributors. The university is also contributing to the ManageIQ community as well.
