Recently I was looking for a way to implement access control for microservices. I needed a solution that would allow defining complex authorization rules that could be enforced across many services. After searching the web, I discovered a very promising Open Policy Agent project that seems to be the right tool for the job. In this series of three blog posts, I am going to introduce Open Policy Agent to you and highlight how it can help you.

Red Hat launches Red Hat Academy Day events

Red Hat held a series of Red Hat Academy Day events at 30 Red Hat Academies in India. This effort was the first Red Hat Academy road-tour to be conducted globally. During these events Red Hat Academy representatives conducted a celebration for 30 Red Hat Academies and over 5,560 students who have participated in the Red Hat Academy program.

Red Hat Certified Architect program changes

Red Hat Certified Architect is the highest level of certification Red Hat offers.  We are making some changes to the program and the way that we position it to help IT organizations and professionals worldwide better understand the program and what it means to be an RHCA.

For years, in order to earn RHCA you first had to earn Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE.)  As the Red Hat product portfolio expanded into middleware, we expanded the program to provide a path to RHCA for developers who have earned either Red Hat Certified Enterprise Microservices Developer (RHCEMD) or Red Hat Certified JBoss Developer (RHCJD.)
