Tom Waldrop is a Global Vertical Practice leader with over 35 years of Information Technology and Telecommunications industry expertise. Tom has been an agent for transformational change through multiple disruptions including the transition from mainframes to client server, the internet revolution, the convergence of voice and data, the explosion of mobile computing and most recently, the industry shift towards cloud computing. He has learned first-hand that attempting to capture value from a technology disruption without also addressing its impact on end-customers, workforce and business processes is a recipe for failure.

Prior to joining Red Hat, Tom held various professional services roles at Cisco Systems, Inc. He also held engineering and professional services roles at a succession of technology startups focused on application development toolsets, multi-protocol networking, technology asset management and IT service management.
