Recently, I started putting together a series of videos covering setting up a homelab environment based on FreeNAS and oVirt. Whilst producing the FreeNAS video I ran into an situation where I needed to create a bunch of (25) raid 0 arrays in the HP Smart Storage (SSA) software.

My laziness got the better of me, so I decided to upgrade the firmware in an attempt to access a button in a new SSA version that automagically configures all disks in seperate raid0 arrays from a button click. This video is the result! I have never used a HP Service Pack before, you need to have an active HP support subscription in order to get it. Hopefully this is interesting, it certainly satisfied my curiosity!

If you have time and I haven't bored you to sleep, please share feedback in the video comments - especially anything that I could improve.
