We've updated exams for 2 of the hottest technologies in the market.

Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application exam (EX288)

The earlier version of this exam took a relatively generic approach to container skills. Now that Red Hat OpenShift has clearly become our container story, we've updated the exam and related course to focus squarely on Red Hat OpenShift as the means and the target platform. Interest in OpenShift is growing rapidly. Get ahead of the curve by becoming a Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application Development. The Red Hat OpenShift Development I: Containerizing Applications (DO288) course is a great way to prepare for the Red Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Application exam (EX288). In this course, you will learn how to design, build, and deploy containerized software applications on an OpenShift cluster. Whether writing container-native applications or migrating existing applications, this course provides hands-on training to boost developer productivity powered by Red Hat® OpenShift Container Platform.

Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) in Red Hat OpenStack exam (EX310)

Originally this certification covered 2 broad areas: Ceph storage integration and OpenStack® networking. Since the release of Red Hat OpenStack Platform 10, we've been testing basic Ceph storage integration in the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) in Red Hat OpenStack exam (EX210). This frees us up to focus on networking completely at the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE®) level. The new focus makes sense because much of the OpenStack interest lies in telcos and service providers. OpenStack networking is underneath the services they provide to their customers. If you've earned the RHCSA in Red Hat OpenStack, consider earning RHCE in Red Hat OpenStack. The Red Hat OpenStack Administration III: Networking & Foundations of NFV (CL310) course is a great way to prepare for the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) in Red Hat OpenStack exam (EX310). You will learn how to manage the OpenStack networking service (Neutron) with network functions virtualization to enhance network performance. You will configure distributed virtual routers, Open vSwitch with Data Plane Development Kit datapath, and IPv6 networking in OpenStack. You will also deploy software-defined networking with OpenDaylight.
