The Challenge of Finding Open Source Skills and Expertise

According to a recent survey about the state of open source jobs featured on opensource.com, the majority of hiring managers surveyed see an increase in hiring for open source talent over other roles in the next six months. This is great news for all of us in open source. The catch? Eighty-seven percent of those same hiring managers reported that attracting candidates with the right skills and expertise is a challenge.

New diagnostics and troubleshooting course and exam

A fresh take on a core course in our Red Hat Enterprise Linux portfolio was introduced in late March 2016. Red Hat Enterprise Linux Diagnostics and Troubleshooting (RH342), a four day course, and a replacement and complete rewrite of our former “Red Hat Enterprise Linux Troubleshooting” (RH242) course which was available on Red Hat® Enterprise Linux® 6.
