An article from the Red Hat Learning Subscription monthly newsletter. September 2016 edition.

After a summer of migrations to a new cloud provider and sending out periodic announcements, we’re finished. Hurrah!

We moved to enable some additional features such as console access to lab systems, nested virtualization support, and unrestricted networking amongst others. In addition to the updated consoles themselves, we also re-worked the lab controls. We now have a consistent set of controls and features across all classes labs.

We’ve also removed the need for browsers to support self-signed Secure Socket Layer certificates and the requirement for port 6080 connections. This should resolve issues like needing to get a port exemption from a network firewall or proxy to permit lab machine console connections.
