An article from the Red Hat Learning Subscription monthly newsletter. April 2016.

Not sure where to begin on your learning path? Red Hat’s skills assessments help you select the right courses for your skill level and interests.

Here’s how it works: From the drop-down box on the skills assessment page, select the class or topic on which you want to be assessed. For example, choosing System Administration for RHEL7 will help you determine whether you would be better off taking the standard track (System Administration I, II, and III) or the rapid-track (RHCSA Rapid Track and System Administration III) or if you should go directly to the Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE®) certification lab.

In addition to the Linux system administration (covering 5 courses) assessment, we’ve added assessments to cover:

  • OpenStack Administration (CL210)
  • Red Hat Linux Diagnostics and Troubleshooting (RH342)
  • Red Hat Satellite 6 Administration (RH403)
  • JBoss Administration (JB248)
  • Configuration Management with Puppet (DO405)
